      Vegas 2009 - 30 is the new 20

Yes, it's time once again for our semi-yearly pilgrimage to the land of sin and debauchery.  This years dates are:

Thursday May 7th through Monday May 11th

You all are invited to stay through Monday, however don't feel obligated.  My brother and his wife, myself, and Jesse and Jackie will be flying out on Monday, so the party will still be there if you will.

Attention: We're still working out the details on the hotel reservations, looking for a better deal and confirming how many people we have going.  At this point I have NOT signed the contract with NYNY, so you should definitely book your flights while the prices are cheap, but hold off on booking your rooms.  Call me if you have any questions!

      The details:

      • We are staying at the New York, New York this year - the hotel that took our (Marty, Ern and I) Vegas virginity.
      • We have a group rate, the rate code is H-U-I-T-T
        • For reservations, call: 1-800-693-6763 - offer expires on April 7th!
        • Rates are as follows
          • Thursday, May 7: $79
          • Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9: $109
          • Sunday, May 10: $79
          • -
          • Total for Three Nights: $323.73
          • Total for Four Nights: $409.84
          • -
          • If you can find a cheaper rate at a different hotel, go for it! Remember however that we have a block of 5-14 rooms all on the same floor at the NYNY, and my room will have the hot tub in it...
        • When you book the room, you'll have the option to request either one king or two queen size beds.  I'd recommend saying that you have no more than two people in each room, even if you will be sharing rooms with more than two people - they will charge extra based on a head count!

There are definitely people looking to double up in rooms - let me know if you're in that boat and I'll get you connected with someone else.

As of today flights on Southwest are going for as cheap as $59 each way, so I recommend booking your flight as soon as possible.  We may also have at least one driver crewing up for the road trip out.  If you are not interested in flying, let me know and I'll get you connected.

Please e-mail me at Jason.Huitt@colostate.edu after you reserve your room so I can keep track of who's going.  I'll have to pay extra if we don't book all of the rooms we reserved prior to April 7th.

This is going to be a fantastic party and I can't wait to have all of my best friends in one place for a great party.  I'm really looking forward to it - and can't tell you how excited I am that you will be there.

If you have questions, you know how to find me.  For reference, here's my itenerary:

      • Depart Thu May 7 at 11:25AM, Southwest flight 2384, Arrive at 12:25PM
      • Return Mon May 11 at 3:50PM, Southwest flight 2803, Arrive at 6:50PM

Confirmed!  The following folks will definitely be joining us...

      • Jackie and Jesse
      • Ernie and Sarah
      • Drew?  Yep, he says he'll be there  <- First timer!
